Zumbathon marathon will help hospice

A Zumbathon is being held at Enderby Leisure Centre to aid the Loros hospice.

Participants will attempt three hours of the Latin dance fitness craze at the Centre from 10am on Saturday, October 2.

The event is open to anyone over the age of 11 and the entry costs just £2.50., plus of course your own stamina!

Cake stalls and a raffle will also be on offer on the day.

Lanette Maxwell, a fitness motivator at the centre, said:

“A previous colleague and the husband of our current fitness manager died of cancer last Christmas.

“He spent his last week in Loros and it helped his wife and family, so it’s a charity close to our heart.”
