Billed as a cookery course with a difference, the ‘Zero Waste Kitchen’ course at Enderby Adult Learning Centre aims to teach how to “Waste less and save more”.
The course, which runs through May and June 2019, will focus on how to reduce food waste by reusing foods.
Participants on the course will learn how to reuse food within recipes, such as ‘bottom of the fridge’ soup & crispy croutons, vegetable stock using leftover peelings, sweet/savoury bread and butter pudding.
In addition, the course will cover how to portion a whole chicken, as well as the group deciding on a recipe.
The course is at Enderby Adult Learning Centre, Townsend Road. Enderby on Thursdays 7:00 – 9:00pm commencing on 2nd May – 13th June 2019.
