Works at B4114 and Leicester Lane, Enderby – an update

Posted on November 24, 2016November 24, 2016 by staff

trafficlightsAs part of the ongoing works on Leicester Lane, Enderby, there will be temporary traffic lights on Leicester Lane from 7am on Tuesday 29th November until 5pm on Wednesday 30th November.

The temporary traffic lights will be located on the Enderby side of the M1 and are required in order to undertake ditch works to help alleviate flooding issues on Leicester Lane. (See map at the base of this article)

If you are travelling during this period, please allow extra time for your journey or use an alternative route.

From Monday 28th November, the current lane restrictions on the B4114 will be removed until early January 2017.

This will mean that all lanes on the B4114 will be open to help the road network cope with the increased traffic volumes over the Christmas period.

During this period, the left turn lane from the B4114 northbound to Leicester Lane will remain closed and the existing diversion route, via Everards roundabout, will remain in place.

If you have any queries about this work, please contact Leicestershire County Council on 0116 305 0001.
