Two free workshops offering practical support to help local businesses grow are being held at Blaby District Council on Wednesday May 2.
The Internet Marketeer will offer advice to businesses on using the social media website LinkedIn as a marketing tool followed by a workshop looking at reducing operating costs through energy efficiency, led by Vichag Clean Energy.
The event is part of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) Real Life Entrepreneur programme which is running across Leicestershire, Rutland and Northamptonshire to give business people the chance to access support and advice.
Businesses will have the opportunity to promote their companies and meet other like minded entrepreneurs as well as finding out about other sessions in the programme.
Councillor Ted Webster-Williams, portfolio holder for policy and partnerships at the Council said:
“Times are still tough for many small businesses and we recognise that access to help and support is important so we are delighted to be working with the FSB to offer this programme.”
The event starts at 2pm at the Council Offices in Narborough.
