Why not use ‘Park & Ride’ to get out and about during half term?

Posted on February 1, 2013February 1, 2013 by staff

imagesCACXRMQSThe Park & Ride  service is perfect for families wanting to spend some quality time together in Leicester.

Buses will be running  throughout the school holidays from Enderby, as well as the other terminals at Birstall and Meynell’s Gorse,  to Leicester city centre.

Park & Ride is a quick, easy and most importantly,  affordable way to get into the city of Leicester.

It’s a low carbon option and it helps beat congestion in the city. The ‘Group Ticket’ is just £3.50 for up to 5 people travelling after 9am Monday to Friday, and all day Saturday.

It’s a family friendly service and under-fives travel for free. That means less time driving round looking for parking and more quality family time together.

Changes have recently been made to all three services to improve reliability.

For more details about how this has affected the routes through the city centre and other information about the service, visit: www.quicksilverbus.co.uk.
