Countesthorpe Wednesday Women’s Workshop is a very friendly ladies singing group who meet in the music department at Countesthorpe Community College on Wednesday evenings (7 – 9pm), during term time.

Secretary Rosemary Adams has told Enderby EYE that the group are very fortunate to have Willard Welsford as their excellent musical director.

Rosemary says the group sings all kinds of music from classical music, to musicals and they usually organise two or three concerts per year.

Members don’t have to be able to read music, and there are no auditions.

The WWW only ask that prospective members enjoy singing, don’t mind what they sing …and can sing in tune.

Meetings start again later this month, on September 19th.
