Officers investigating a robbery in Enderby last month have made two arrests.
The victim, who is in his 40s, was walking along Mill Lane at around 5pm on Wednesday 17th October when he was approached by two suspects on a motorbike.
The victim reported that the suspect on the rear of the motorbike had a knife while a third person on a bicycle was also seen behind the victim blocking his way.
The suspect with the knife demanded the victim’s phone, which was later thrown to the ground. Cash was also stolen from the victim’s wallet.
No injuries were reported following the incident.
The three suspects left the scene heading towards the area of Bantlam Lane and straight over Kirk Lane.
The motorcycle used in the incident was described as an Aprilia black motorcycle which has a red stripe on the petrol tank.
As part of their enquiries, officers have arrested two boys aged 15 and 16 on suspicion of robbery.
They have since been released under investigation.
Police Constable Harry Jenkison said: “Enquiries are continuing into the incident and we would continue to ask the public to call us with any information they may have regarding this robbery.”
