Trainee accountants brighten up the room!

A group of trainee accountants swapped number-crunching for painting when they revamped a day centre for elderly people.

Six employees from RSM Tenon, based in Grove Park, Enderby, spent the day giving one of the rooms at Catherine House, an Age UK day centre in Evington, a fresh lick of paint.

Jake Leonard, who took part, told the Leicester Mercury: “We painted one of the rooms the residents usually sit in and brightened it up. It was nice to do something for somebody else.”

The other trainees were Sonal Keshvara, Zarlusht Imran, Mitesh Thakrar, Elliot Keable and Sneha Morjaria.

Age UK Leicestershire and Rutland became an RSM Tenon client earlier this year.

Chris Darlington, managing partner at RSM Tenon’s Leicester office, told the Mercury:

“Involvement in charitable activities is something we value as a company and so we felt it was important for our new intake to have the opportunity to take part in something they feel passionate about.”

Through a comprehensive suite of accounting and consultancy services, RSM Tenon offer intelligent solutions to a national client base that ranges from individuals and entrepreneurially-led owner managed businesses, to large corporations and public sector organisations.
