A symposium on the life of Charles Loraine Smith, Squire of Enderby (1751-1835) is to be held on October 24th at the Melton Carnegie Museum, Thorpe End, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, LE13 1RB.
Applications for tickets has to be made by Friday 13th October 2017.
Tickets cost £10 to include an essay and refreshments of tea and cake

1.30pm – Melton Carnegie: Exhibition of the life and work of Charles Loraine Smith (1751-1835) of Enderby, Leicester
2-4pm – Various talks from Dr Robert Fountain, Sally Mitchell, Heidi Strobel & Philip Warren
