Teen admits Littlethorpe handling and Braunstone motoring charges

A 15-year-old boy has admitted handling a car stolen in a burglary.

The burglary was committed in Parnell Close, Littlethorpe, on Sunday (February 17).

The boy was arrested on Monday, and appeared at Leicester Youth Court on Wednesday.

As well as the handling offence, he admitted dangerous driving, driving without a licence, and driving without insurance.

All these offences were committed in Braunstone on Monday (February 18).

He was given a 12 month youth rehabilitation order, placed under supervision, and given an eight week 8pm to 7am curfew. He was also ordered to pay a £15 victim’s surcharge
