The new group is open to residents of Blaby District over 18 years of age with an interest in supporting the aims of the group.

Roy Swann, Chair of ageWise Blaby District, said:

“We are so excited to begin the independent group.

“The Council has been fantastic over the years and it has been a valuable forum for so many people.

“The new ageWise Blaby District management committee looks forward to continuing the positive impact the group has had since its beginnings at Blaby District Council.

“We wish to take this new group forward and our aim in the early days is to increase our membership to benefit as many residents in the District of Blaby as we can.”
