Police chief to outline strategy in face of cutbacks

Simon Cole, Leicestershire’s chief constable,  will be available at a July public meeting in Enderby to explain how Leicestershire Constabulary will deal with cuts in its funding. Also present at the meeting will be Leicestershire Police Authority chairman Barrie Roper and Paul Stock, the authority’s chief executive and treasurer. The meeting is due to take place…
