On 8th February on a Tuesday Night Enderby Dodgeball Club held its first expansion session of 2011. This proved to be a great success for the first session, with 36 members in attendance – 12 of whom were female players.

Enderby Dodgeball Club is currently working alongside Blaby District Council who have awarded the club funding via the Active Together Funding scheme.

The funding has been used to expand the current Tuesday night sessions that have been running for two years.

The funding allows for the coaching and development of new players as well as giving experienced players the opportunity to train.

All-female coaching sessions have also taken place at the club.

New Players Needed!!

The club is currently recruiting new players for Tuesday Night Dodgeball and looking for both male and female beginner players.

The club is especially targeting female players to get involved in the sport and they are keen to develop female participation in the sport.

There are currently 12 female players involved at Enderby Dodgeball Club.

No experience is required. The sessions are run by three qualified UKDBA Dodgeball coaches and and all rules are explained on the night.

Dodgeball beginner sessions take place at Enderby Leisure Centre between 8:30pm – 10:30pm every Tuesday and the first session is FREE.

Note: Players must be 16yrs and over.
