Time again for the regular surgery at Enderby Community Library. The November surgery will be held this evening (Thursday 29th) between 4pm and 6pm.
The programme of regular surgeries began in February 2018, when Parish Council Chairman Nigel Grundy, PCSO Leigh Flannery and Local Area Co-ordinator, Sally Murgatroyd were on hand to hear parishioners concerns in the field of Council matters, local policing and community interaction respectively.
The surgeries are an excellent opportunity for parishioners to express concerns or seek advice.
Since that first meeting a number of issues have been addressed and have either been resolved or are ongoing.
The surgeries are designed to engage with parishioners on matters concerning the Parish Council which tend to centre around traffic issues, open spaces within the Parish or planning decisions.
The surgeries also hear parishioner’s views on local policing issues which can range from responses to anti-social behaviour and security advice.
The Local Area Co-ordinator helps to connect with others with similar interests or needs and getting the right help from services.
The surgeries are just one activity taking place in Enderby Community Library which is living up to its role as community hub.
Dates of the surgeries in 2018 are here. A list of 2019 dates will be published in due course.
