Two local councillors have published a statement regarding recent incidents in Enderby.
The statement by Blaby District Councillors Cllr. L Richardson and Cllr. C Cashmore comes in the wake of considerable unease expressed by Enderby residents to local Councillors and more widely on social media platforms.
The statement reads:
“In light of recent incidents in Enderby, a meeting was held this morning by the Police and Community Safety partnership team who are very much committed to ensuring that our community of Enderby feel safe.
“Measures are being put into place both in the short term and the long term to visibly show this, therefore Enderby will continue to see a higher level of policing in the coming few weeks.
“Residents and business owners are encouraged to talk to those officers.
Any further development will be shared in due course.
Louise Richardson County & District Councillor
Cheryl Cashmore District Councillor”
