The newly formed Marie Curie Cancer Care Support Group in South Leicestershire are holding a Spring Coffee Morning to raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care and everyone is invited.
The Spring Coffee Morning, which is taking place at St Pius X Church Hall, Narborough LE19 2DF on Saturday 12 February at 10am – 12.30pm, will include cake, unlimited tea or coffee, raffle, cake stall, cards and much, much more.
Tickets are Adults £2-50 Children £1 and are available on the day or from Gill McQueen on 0116 2865524.
The group also held a Cheese and Wine evening on a cold, frosty evening in December raised over £389.00.
Cara Ackerman, a Marie Curie Fund Raising Volunteer said:
“As a new fund raising group for Marie Curie Cancer Care, we have now held two events and raised over £2,500.00 in total with various donations included.
“We’d like to invite everyone to our Spring Coffee Morning to help raise even more funds to help more Marie Curie Nurses to provide free care to patients with terminal cancer and other illnesses in the comfort of their own homes or one of the charity’s hospices.
“It’s going to be a fantastic event and a great way to get together with friends old and new.”
