Six films for Community Cinema

Huncote’s popular Community Cinema will be showing a mixture of family and classic films over the next few months, with the next six filmed announced.

Hosted at the Pavilion Leisure Centre, the first film, Hocus Pocus, will be shown at 10:30am on Wednesday 18 October.

The family comedy follows two teenagers, a young girl and an immortal cat to stop three witch sisters on Halloween night.

Five other films will be shown from November to March 2018, including It’s a Wonderful Life, The Nightmare Before Christmas and Sing. Download the poster to see full details of each film.

Tickets are just £4 with booking essential.

The Leisure Centre’s café will be open for refreshments and there is a soft play area for children to enjoy before and after the screenings for free. Baby changing facilities are also available.

Call 0116 275 0246 or email leisure@blaby.gov.uk to book a place for the screenings.

Tickets are limited to 40 seats.
