Serious collision in Beggars Lane, Lubbesthorpe

collision investigation vanOfficers from the Force’s serious collision investigation unit are appealing for witnesses after a collision in Lubbesthorpe.

The collision occurred just after 3pm on Wednesday February 11th in Beggars Lane and involved one vehicle, a grey Vauxhall Astra.

The vehicle contained three people, the driver, a woman, was taken to the Leicester Royal Infirmary and discharged after treatment, the front seat passenger, a woman, was taken to University Hospitals of Coventry and Warwickshire where she remains in a stable condition.

The third passenger was not injured.

Officers are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or saw the vehicle beforehand to contact them.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact DC 506 Ady Keeble.

Anyone with information in relation to any appeals featured on this site is asked to contact the relevant officer on 101, follow the instructions to leave a message for the officer and when prompted key in the officer’s identification number.

Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers, which is free and anonymous, on 0800 555 111.
