Royal Wedding Street Party

Serial fundraiser Kate Harrington, with the support of friends and the generosity of the people and businesses of Enderby, is embarking on her latest effort –  endeavoring to raise at least £4000 for the Help for Heroes charity.

On April 29th 2011, the day of the Royal Wedding, there will be a street party in Enderby at the Social Club, Coleridge Drive.

The wedding will be shown live on a huge screen and by way of attractions there’ll be a Bouncy Castle, a ‘Bring your own food’ BBQ, Prince and Princess fancy dress competition, Penalty shoot outs, Games, Face painting, various Stalls and an Outdoor Disco.

It promises to be an amazing family fun day. Even if it rains everything has been organised so the event can be held indoors.

During the day Kate’s team will be selling wrist bands and raffle tickets for a fantastic draw of prizes.

Help for Heroes (H4H) was founded in 2007, to provide practical help and direct support to our wounded, to date H4H has funded an £8m rehabilitation Complex, and is now looking to raise £3m more for another much needed centre.

H4H has touched a nerve with the British public and as both Princes William and Harry are huge supporters it seems fitting we should raise money for this fitting cause on such a fantastic day.
