Two new sessions that aim to revive people’s love for rounders are launching in Blaby district.
Thanks to funding from Rounders England the Council’s Health and Leisure Services team will be running Return2Rounders and family rounders sessions throughout the summer.
The Return2Rounders sessions are available for women 14+ who are looking to reignite the passion for rounders from their school days, the family sessions are open to all the family, making use of the district’s parks and open spaces.
Return2Rounders will be taking place –
- Tuesday 18th June – Tuesday 3rd September, 6pm – 7pm, Mossdale Meadows, Kingsway, BraunstoneTown, £2 per person
- Tuesday 18th June – Tuesday 3rd September, 6pm – 7pm, Carey Hill Playing Fields, Stoney Stanton, £2 per person
- Wednesday 19th June – Wednesday the 4th September, 6pm – 7pm, NorthfieldPark, Blaby, £2 per person
Family Rounders is taking place on Sunday 23rd June – Sunday 8th June, 10:30am – 11:30am, CountesthorpeCommunity College, £1 per person.
