Roll up, Roll up for circus skills fun day

Posted on July 5, 2011November 27, 2011 by staff

Families are invited to a fantastic day out learning circus skills in Blaby on Saturday August 20.

The town centre will be transformed into a circus school with juggling, stilt walking, face painting, fancy dress, mini sand pits, a bouncy castle, story telling and arts and crafts.

Activities start at 11am until 4pm in John’s Court Precinct.

Blaby District Council have organised the event in partnership with Blaby Parish Council.

Councillor Ted Webster-Williams, portfolio holder for policy and partnerships said: “This will be a really fun day for families and shoppers to enjoy and will hopefully show what a great place Blaby is to visit.”

The BB19 youth bus will also be at Johns Court car park on the day offering activities for young people.

For more information contact the Blaby town centre manager on 0116 272 7729 or email towncentre@blaby.gov.uk.
