Review of seats on parish council

People in Blaby are being asked if they want to cut the number of councillors on their parish council.

Blaby Parish Council wants to reduce its members from 18 to 16 as not enough candidates are coming forward at election times.

There are no proposed changes to district council representation, nor to the parish boundaries.

If agreed the changes would be introduced after the local elections in May 2015.
