Shops struggling to make a profit across Blaby district are being offered a helping hand at a free marketing and retail support event on Thursday May 26.
The workshop will be held at the Westfield Hotel on Enderby Road, Blaby, from 5.30pm – 8.30pm and is designed to help local independent retailers make the most of their business and gain a competitive edge.
Shop owners will be given top tips on attracting customers into their store, making sales and creating a great atmosphere for shoppers.
Blaby District Council is organising the event in partnership with Business Link.
Carole Troake economic development officer at the Council said:
“We recognise that many independent retailers face tough times ahead with competition from larger businesses and online stores hitting them hard.
“This session will be packed full of practical solutions shop keepers can take away and put into practice to help make their business a success.”
