As in previous years, the Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Rangers, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts will be taking part in a Remembrance Day Procession, supported by Enderby Band.
The procession will start from Mill Lane by the Leisure Centre at 10.15am and will move through the centre of the village, calling at the United Reformed Church for the younger members to attend their service, ending at the Parish Church in time for their Remembrance Sunday Service.
A number of Enderby Parish councillors will be processing and a warm welcome is extended to any service personnel, currently serving or retired and any members of the community who wish to join in the procession.
The procession will have front and rear safety cars with warning lights, and volunteer marshals at all of the road junctions.
Road Safety
Those walking with the procession from Mill lane to the churches should do so on the road behind the uniformed organisations but in front of the rear safety car.
This will mean that spectators/supporters are unable to walk alongside the procession on the pavement or on the road. Anyone taking part in the procession walking to the church and who wishes to take photographs of the procession (ie a daughter or son) they should position themselves along the route and then join the procession as it passes.
Spectators are requested not to attempt to cross the road through the procession.
