Religiously aggravated incident in Narborough

police 20Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident of religiously aggravated abuse in Narborough.

The incident happened at around 5.30pm on Sunday, August 17 in Station Road.

The victim was running close to the level crossing when the driver of a Seat Leon shouted abuse at him.

Special Constable 5638 Maria Dale, who is investigating the incident said:

“This incident happened shortly after the barriers had been raised at the level crossing, so I believe there would have been several other vehicles in the area and someone may have seen something.

“I am particularly keen to speak to the woman driver of the vehicle which was behind the Seat as I believe they many have witnessed the incident.

“Please, think back to last Sunday and if you were in the area at the time and believe you could have information get in touch.”

Anyone with information in relation to any appeals featured on this site is asked to contact the relevant officer on 101*, follow the instructions to leave a message for the officer and when prompted key in the officer’s identification number.
