Police charge two following local burglaries

police carTwo men have each been charged with burgling or attempting to burgle nine homes, following an investigation by Leicestershire Police.

The men, aged 26 and 31, were accused of burglary in Mores Lane, Enderby on May 20th and also at homes in
Milton Street, Narborough and Station Road, Desford.

They are also accused of burglary at Ratby Road, Groby, on May 20 as well as various addresses in Nottinghamshire on May 23;

They were each also charged with attempted burglary at John Street, Nuneaton, on May 23.

They were each charged with conspiring with each other to commit burglary between March 12 and May 23.

Both were also charged with aggravated vehicle taking and the 31-year-old also was charged with disqualified driving, dangerous driving and other document offences.

They appeared at Leicester Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, and are due to make a further appearance on June 11.
