Police appeal to anyone who witnessed a collision on the M69 on Monday 3rd August

Police tapePolice would like to hear from anyone who was driving along the M69 in the parish of Huncote on Monday 3rd August and who witnessed a motorcycle accident.

A pillion passenger on a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle sustained serious injuries after he fell from a motorcycle he was riding on the southbound carriageway of the M69.

The motorcycle rider was not injured. The passenger was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham where his condition has been described as stable.

The collision took place at about 12.10pm, and police would like to speak to anyone travelling along this road around midday.
