Police say they remain “very concerned” about missing Enderby man, David Noakes.

Searching continues and water searches are today (19 January) being carried out in the River Soar at Enderby in the search for Mr. Noakes.

The 78-year-old was last seen by his family at 10.25am on Tuesday 17 January in Trinity Road, Enderby.

He has not been seen since.

His disappearance is incredibly out of character.

He has not been missing before and his family describe him as being vulnerable and confused.

David was last seen wearing a green fleece jumper with three buttons and a collar and grey/green cargo style trousers. He is around 5ft 8ins tall of slim build with grey hair.

He is known to frequent the Jubilee Park area. Searches have been made in and around the Park area, and the search continues today.

Please check outbuildings and sheds in rear gardens – David may have taken shelter there.

If you have seen him or think you may know where he is contact the police on 101 and quote incident 428 of January 17
