‘Planters’ required!

Posted on November 6, 2012 by staff

Braunstone Town Council has been successful in its application to the Woodland Trust, and been awarded hundreds of sapling trees for planting.

The plan is to plant them near to the motorway, which over time will help reduce noise and fume pollution from traffic, for the benefit of everyone on Thorpe Astley.

Help is needed to plant the saplings. Anyone able to spare an hour or so, please join in planting some history. Its should be a great event for all the family.

Current thoughts are a Saturday morning, perhaps 24th November.

If interested, please contact http://www.your-thorpe-astley.co.uk/.
