Pedestrian/cycle crossing and bus stop improvement work on B4114 at Enderby St.Johns

traffic conesCounty Council contractors, Leicestershire Highways, are set to carry out improvements to the B4114 in the vicinity of the new Miller Home and Jelson Home developments.

The work is planned to begin in early October.

The improvement work will create

  • dedicated pedestrian/cycle link to the existing shared use facility
    uncontrolled crossing facility
  • localised bus stop improvements
  • wider central reservation to safely accommodate pedestrian & cycle users

The work is planned to begin week commencing the 5th October 2015, for five weeks, subject to weather etc.

St Johns roadworks

The majority of the works will be undertaken using temporary lane closures only operational between the hours of 9.30am to 3.30pm.

These off peak hours should ensure works will have minimal impact on traffic flow and congestion and keep disruption to a minimum.
