At its meeting held 10th November 2021, Enderby Parish Council made the following statement in response to Blaby District Council’s Update in relation to Southey Recreational Ground (locally known as Wimpey Park): –
“Enderby Parish Council is aware of the possibility of a planning application on Southey Park. If that application is made, the Parish Council will consider the application on the basis that Southey Park is a valuable resource, in its entirety, and should be retained for the whole community. Enderby residents are also urged to use their democratic right to submit their views of the plans to Blaby District Planning Authority via its Planning Portal. The link to this is: https://www.blaby.gov.uk/planning-and-building/planning-applications/search-for-applications/
However this is not possible, or needed, if no planning application is made. Enderby Parish Council is committed to serving the needs of its community.
