Enderby based Topps Tiles have reported an improvement in trading in the last quarter.
Topps, the UK's largest tile and wood flooring specialist based in Grove Park, report that like-for-like sales (which only includes stores open for at least a year) were down by 1.2 per cent in the 13 weeks to July 3.
This compares with a 4.3 per cent fall in the same figure in the first seven weeks of the 13-week period.
Total sales at the company's 310 stores during the quarter declined by 2.5 per cent, compared to an 8.9 per cent fall in the same period last year.
