Enderby Bowls Club Mens Triples Gala

Enderby Bowls Club held a very successful Mens Triples Gala on Sunday, 27th June

Due to the number of teams competing, the days play started at 9.30a.m. on what was to be the hottest day of the summer so far!

Each team played 4 sets of 8 ends, with breaks for 'liquid refreshment' and a splendid Sunday Roast dinner provided by member Sue Sharpe and her very able team.

Play ended finally at just after 6 p.m.

The three winning rinks shared prize money of £190 with the third prize being won by a team from Enderby.

Congratulations to all.

The day was so successful that requests have already been made for inclusion in the 2011 Gala.

Mixed Gala - Sunday 15th August

Entry forms have already gone out to local clubs for our next Gala - mixed teams of four players.
