The lyrical yearnings of poets from Shakespeare and Marlowe right up until modern writers like Carol Ann Duffy will be explored by popular speaker Helen Peden as she unravels the world of love poetry in a live talk.
In this entertaining and light-hearted look at love poetry, both from established literary canon and more modern works, Helen will show how love is not always portrayed as we might expect.
This talk will be held at Blaby Library on Wednesday 14th July, between 7pm and 8pm. Tickets cost £2 each and include refreshments as you arrive.
You can buy tickets from Blaby Library now by visiting in person or phoning on 0116 3053516
