Working parents in the area are being invited to develop their child's creative movement skills at a series of Saturday morning play sessions.
The sessions, led by professional dance artists, are being held at venues in neighbouring Narborough and Leicester Forest East.
Parents with children from 0-5 years-old who miss out on weekday classes can attend the drop-in sessions every week from 6th February at:
The classes, which have been organised by Blaby District Council, will help with child centred learning and support the Early Years Foundation curriculum, which aims to ensure that children of five years and under are developing and learning through creative play.
Hema Mistry, arts and heritage development officer for the council, said:
"These classes are designed to give toddlers a chance to express themselves through movement.
"It would be a great chance for parents to watch this process and also join in to help their child's development."
Sessions cost £2 per child.>
