VABD Activities at the Pavillion

A MIDAS training session, a new evening group for carers and a workshop for volunteers who work with the visually impaired take place later this month.

The next course of MiDAS training for Mini Bus drivers will be on Tuesday 18th March, 09.30am to 12.30pm at The Pavilion, Sportsfield Lane, Huncote, Leics, LE9 3BN.

MiDAS stands for Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme. The scheme helps improve minibus safety by working with organisations to improve driver standards.

This session is a theory session and will be followed up by a practical driving session at a later date arranged to participants' convenience.

New Carers Evening Group

A new evening group for carers starts with a quiz night on Wednesday 19th March 2008 meeting at The Pavilion, Sportsfield Lane, Huncote, LE9 3BN from 7.00pm to 10.00pm.

Visual Impairment Workshop

In your work or volunteering do you support people with visual impairments? Would you like to learn more about how visual impairment can affect lives and what support is available in Leicestershire?

A free workshop is taking place for those working or volunteering for non profit making organisations at The Pavilion, Sportsfield Lane, Huncote on Thursday 20th March 2008 between 10.00am and 12.30
