Thurlaston is a peaceful little village that lies about 8 miles south-west of the city of Leicester. Although small in population, with just over 700 inhabitants, Thurlaston geographically is the largest Parish within Blaby District.
Thurlaston Online has been 'on the web' since December 2003. The site is owned and maintained by local resident, Phil Young, on a 'not for profit' basis in similar fashion to the Enderby Eye. The aim of the site is to provide a comprehensive web presence for the village of Thurlaston. Click this link (or the banner below) to visit the site.

Fleckney is a village and civil parish in the Harborough district of Leicestershire, England. It lies approximately 12 miles south-east from Enderby.
The village appeared in the Domesday Book, and was a farming community until the 19th century, which saw development of industry, first bricks, and then later hosiery.
The village website has a crisp bright appearance - and hopefully those in the local community will support the site, making it a valuable asset to the local community.
The website has pages for local business, contact details for local organisations and a forum/messaging facility to encourage local interaction.

Stoney Stanton is a village in the Blaby district of Leicestershire, England, with a population of about 3,500. It constitutes a civil parish.
The village is on a rocky outcrop and was the site of a quarry, which was closed in 1958. It has been since flooded and as Stoney Cove is a major diving centre, one of the biggest in Europe and a steady source of business for the local area.
Through the first half of the 20th Century granite quarrying was a major activity in Stoney Stanton due to the villages location upon a rocky outcrop of ancient grano-diorite, a hard stone much prized for roadmaking. It also had a symbol of the textile industry, a Couture Tights factory, within the village until the closure of the factory a few years ago. Calor Gas also has a large depot on the borders of the village.
The village is just to the east of the M69 and lies aproximately 4-5 miles west from Enderby.
The village website is a 'Travel to Leicester' website and contains pages of information about local business, community history and current events.

Broughton Astley is a thriving village in the Blaby district of Leicestershire, England, with a population of close to 10,000.
The village website is maintained and operated by Broughton Astley resident, John Peirson.
The village itself is made up of two different villages that were previously separate. They were Primethope and Broughton. However, while the coming together was passed without much fuss or change, only until recently there were still signs in the old Primethorpe area that still said "Primethorpe". Other than this, Broughton Astley is claimed to be the largest village in Europe.
The site has links to local businesses, local community groups and parish organisations.
