Detectives have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a body in a car yesterday (14 May).
The body of a female was found following a collision between a car and a motorbike, in Desford Road, Enderby, at around 11.45am.
Following a post mortem examination, enquiries are ongoing to ascertain the cause of death. However it is not consistent with a road traffic collision.
Formal identification of the deceased has not yet taken place.
Two men, aged 27 and 28 have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are in custody, where they are being questioned by detectives.
