Man charged following football disorder investigation

A 50-year-old man has been charged with a public order offence, following an investigation by Leicestershire Police in to allegations of disorder at an under-15s football match.

The incident is alleged to have taken place on October 21 at Warwick Road, Littlethorpe, at a game between Blaby and Whetstone FC and Leicester Nirvana FC.

The man is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court on February 25.
