Lorry load of beauty items stolen from Enderby area

Police CarPolice are appealing for people to help them locate a lorry load of electrical hair styling items that were stolen from the Enderby area.

Police are investigating a robbery on an industrial estate which resulted in P. Bromley & Sons Limited lorry being stolen.

The lorry contained GHD hairdryers, straighteners and curling wands, all of the items were individually packed in GHD branded boxes but in a variety of designs including limited edition and gift sets.

The lorry driver was in the vehicle when he was approached and threatened with a knife.

He was moved from the lorry and placed in another vehicle before he was released several hours later on the A634, Barnby Moor, Nottinghamshire.

The stolen lorry cab was white and the curtain sided trailer was blue and yellow liveried in P. Bromley & Sons LTD.

It was stolen at about 1.45am on Friday 6 November and was recovered minus its load in Skelmersdale, Lancashire.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who saw any suspicious activity either in Leicester Lane, Enderby or on the A634 in Nottinghamshire during the early hours of Friday 6 November.

Anyone who has been approached by someone trying to sell similar items in suspicious circumstances or knows anything about who may be responsible for the incident is asked to contact DC 4202 Sarah Walker on 101.
