Local Beat Team reports on its December 2018 activities

The Local Area Police Team have published their January 2019 newsletter, outlining issues addressed during December 2018.  

The last Surgery of 2018 took place place in the Community Library, Townsend Road, Enderby, between 16:00 and 18.00hrs on Tuesday the 18th December.

The Surgeries are held regularly throughout the year and provide an opportunity for the local community to meet a representative from the Local Policing Team, the Parish Council and the Local Area Co-ordinator.

The first Enderby Surgery of the new year will be held in the Community Library at 16:00hrs on Thursday, January 31st 2019.

A Surgery for the new community developing at Lubbesthorpe is planned for Wednesday, January 23rd at 18:30hrs.

The local team report that patrols had been conducted around the community  and there had also been a regular police presence at Fosse Park during the Christmas period.

During December the Local Policing Team have continued to tackle ongoing issues at Fosse Park in relation to Cars meets/reports of ASB in Asda Car Park. The newsletter says that following positive action at this location the issues have reduced.

Similarly, ASB Issues reported in Littlethorpe, the areas were patrolled and no further issues were reported. The team are conducting Patrols in Fosse Park, Enderby / Narborough / Littlethorpe Villages and also Lubbesthorpe to tackle ASB working with partner agency, Blaby district council and relevant housing associations.

From the 1st of December 2018 to the 31st of December 2018 the team  received 231 calls for the Narborough, Littlethorpe, Enderby, Lubbesthorpe and Fosse Park beat.
