Let your creative flair flow and join in with local poetry sessions

Posted on April 4, 2013 by staff

Enderby residents, along with others in Blaby district, have the opportunity to listen, read and write poetry as part of an eight week creative workshop.

Community group Arts for Health is hosting the poetry sessions named “Beneath the Shadow of a Dangerous Dream”, which start on Monday 8 April, 6.30pm – 8pm at Countesthorpe Methodist Church.

Sam Clarke, Health Improvement Officer at Blaby District Council, said:

“Arts for Health is a not for profit group that puts on activities and workshops designed to benefit the health and wellbeing of sometimes hard to reach residents and provide a space where they can express themselves.”

No experience is necessary and each session costs £1.
