Leicestershire Police show Solidarité

tricolourLeicestershire Police observed a minute’s silence at 11am today. Officers and staff stood silent in memory of those killed in the terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday night (Monday 16 November).

The gun and bomb attacks caused the deaths of 129 people, and a total of 352 others were injured in the worst attack on the French capital since the Second World War.

At the same time a minutes silence, expressing solidarity with the French people, was observed by staff at the offices of Blaby District Council.
