Joan Rampton, member of the South Leicestershire Marie Curie Cancer Care Support Group, from Enderby is holding a Blooming Great Tea Party to raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care and everyone is invited.
The tea party, which is taking place at 52 Abbey Road, Enderby LE19 2DA on 22nd June at 2.30pm, will include tea and home made cakes, plant sale, Tombola, Phoenix cards, a raffle and much, much more!
Admission is £2.50 on the door to include tea and cake.
Tickets available in advance from Gill McQueen on 0116 2865524.
All the money raised from the tea party will help more Marie Curie Nurses to provide free care to patients with terminal cancer and other illnesses in the comfort of their own homes or one of the charity’s hospices.
“We’d like to invite everyone to our Blooming Great Tea Party to help raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care. It’s going to be a fantastic event and a great way to get together with friends old and new. The more money we raise, the more free care Marie Curie Nurses can provide to people with a terminal illness.”
Joan’s tea party is part of many others that are taking place across the country as part of Marie Curie Cancer Care’s Blooming Great Tea Party campaign, which hopes to raise one million pounds for the charity this summer.
The group are also calling upon anyone who might be interested about joining to find out more by contacting Gill McQueen on 0116 2865524
