Indecent exposure in Wigston

Police CarPolice in Wigston are appealing for information after a man in a car indecently exposed himself to a woman on Alfreton Road.

The incident happened on Wednesday August 6, at around 1.30pm.

The victim first noticed the car as she got close to Paddock Park and then again on Castleton Road when she heard a car behind her.

The victim then went on to Alfreton Road when the car came up behind her again but this time the car stopped alongside her with the window open.

The driver then tried to engage the woman in conversation and at this point the victim realised that the suspect was exposing himself to her.

The suspect is described as white, in his twenties, with a slim build, fair complexion and foreign accent.

The vehicle is described as being a small car, white/cream in colour, with a teddy bear hanging from the exhaust and looked very old. The bear was about 9 inches in length and looked to be attached by string to the exhaust. The car was also very noisy.

PC 3011 James Piskula said:

“We would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time who may have witnessed the incident or to anyone who has any information as to who the man may be.”

Anyone with information in relation to any appeals featured on this site is asked to contact the relevant officer on 101, follow the instructions to leave a message for the officer and when prompted key in the officer’s identification number. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers, which is free and anonymous, on 0800 555 111.
