The incident happened on Wednesday August 6, at around 1.30pm.
The victim first noticed the car as she got close to Paddock Park and then again on Castleton Road when she heard a car behind her.
The victim then went on to Alfreton Road when the car came up behind her again but this time the car stopped alongside her with the window open.
The driver then tried to engage the woman in conversation and at this point the victim realised that the suspect was exposing himself to her.
The suspect is described as white, in his twenties, with a slim build, fair complexion and foreign accent.
The vehicle is described as being a small car, white/cream in colour, with a teddy bear hanging from the exhaust and looked very old. The bear was about 9 inches in length and looked to be attached by string to the exhaust. The car was also very noisy.
