Heritage Walk

Posted on July 5, 2012July 5, 2012 by staff

Elizabeth York organised a very enjoyable and informative walk around Enderby village for the July meeting of the Enderby Heritage Group.

The walk gave those participating an insight into how families lived in the 1800’s, how the village expanded over the years, and the local connections between the Marsden and Rawson families.

The evening  was full of extreamely interesting, and some very tragic stories.

Thanks go to Elizabeth and all members that attended.

Next meeting: 17th September – Enderby Wills (Part 2).
