Help at hand for first time buyers

Posted on November 11, 2014November 11, 2014 by staff

Help to Buy graphicResidents in Blaby District looking for advice on how best to step onto the property ladder can attend a drop-in event at the Council’s offices in Narborough.

Taking place on Wednesday 26 November, 10am – 3pm, residents can find out what options are available to them and receive impartial advice from an independent financial advisor.

Councillor Maggie Wright, portfolio holder for Community Services, at Blaby District Council, said:

“It is getting increasingly more difficult for first time buyers to make that first step onto the housing ladder. This drop-in event is a great chance for residents to ask questions, and ultimately find out how to make getting their dream home a reality.”

The event is being organised by Orbit, the government’s Help to Buy agents in Leicestershire.
