Young people can apply for small grants from Blaby District Council to help them access Olympic inspired sports and activities.
The Blaby 2012 Inspiring Fund is open to youngsters aged eight to 18 who are looking to buy tickets for events or pay for coaching sessions, equipment and materials to help them develop in their chosen activity.
Anyone applying for the money will need to show how their activity is linked to the London 2012 Olympic Games.
The grants have been funded by the Council in partnership with Inspire Leicestershire.
An application form is available to download at www.blaby.gov.uk/inspiringfund.
The fund is open until July 2012.
