Funding up for grabs for youth projects

Organisations and individuals running activities for young people in Blaby district can now apply for funding to help with their projects.

The funding, which is available through Positive Activities for Young People (PAYP) and coordinated by Blaby District Council, is to help finance projects for young people aged between 8 -19.

PAYP is looking to fund a range of youth projects that will provide positive activities taking place after school, during the lunch period, over a week, weekend, in holiday time only or between April 2013 to March 2014.

If you wish to apply please email your details to Beth Harriman at strategic.partnerships@blaby.gov.uk clearly marked ‘Blaby PAYP 2013-2014, who will forward you the guidance and application form.

The deadline is 12 noon, Friday 1 March 2013.
