Fridge fire temporarily closes village road

Co-op Fire Call outAt around 8pm on Tuesday 27th October, fire crews were called to the Co-operative store on Mill Lane, Enderby.

Two appliances were in attendance and the road was closed off outside the store, with traffic being directed down King Street on one side and Townsend Road on the other.

Fire crew were attending to what Enderby EYE understands was a ‘small fire’ in one of the store’s fridges.
